THE AWARDS

The Brandsasia’s Brandpreneur of the Year 2024 is a prestigious award that bestows on individuals in the business community for attaining unquestioned distinction in the practice of business management and for contributing to the country’s progress.

The award is given to the most deserving individual on the basis of clearly defined qualitative and quantitative factors. It involves a very detailed process that to ensure that the award is given on the basis of merit as proven by track record, accomplishments, certain ethical standards, consistency, and sustainability of performance.

The prestigious award gives equal weight to the Brandpreneur’s performance in various roles as the company’s brand strategist, brand catalyst, brand operator, and brand steward.

The process also provides the framework that will focus on the end results of the company’s financial performance and financial initiatives, which are directly and indirectly contributed by the stewardship of the Brandpreneur awardee. The criteria are accompanied by a proposed set of performance indicators to guide the judges in their evaluation.

The BRANDSASIA’S BRANDPRENEUR OF THE YEAR awardee must also possess integrity, leadership, and management qualities, contribution to nation-building and values formation, and effective stewardship within the confines of the highest standard of business and management practice, among others.

The BRANDSASIA’S BRANDPRENEUR now holds a significant leadership role in creating and ensuring a sustainable growth path for an organization. The Search is open to BRANDSASIA’S BRANDPRENEUR of any company, local or foreign-owned privately held or publicly listed, operating in the Philippines and registered under the country’s laws.

1. GENERAL CRITERIA

Any person who has exceptionally distinguished himself/herself in the practice of entrepreneurship over a significant period of time may be awarded “ Brandsasia’s Brandpreneur of the Year”.

2. SPECIFIC CRITERIA

2.1 Integrity, prestige, and distinction in the business community

2.2 High qualities as a manager exemplified in his leadership, vision, decisiveness, fairness, and firmness in dealing with people

2.3 Exceptional ability for performing his managerial functions under exceptional conditions, such as creating and managing a new enterprise considering the difficulties of the times.

2.4 Contribution to re-shaping national values and orientation

2.6 Effective service and tangible contribution to nationwide professional, social, civic, or charitable undertaking through personal initiative

2.7 The organization under his stewardship must have exhibited consistent exemplary performance and achieved stability under the highest standards of businesses ethics and practice

2.8 The organization must be an entity operating in the Philippines and the business must have contributed substantially to the growth and development of the Philippine economy.
